The Founder’s Club

The Founders Club of the St. James Mercy Foundation was established in 1998 to recognize those individuals and organizations that have provided substantial financial support to St. James Mercy Hospital. These benefactors help to ensure the long-term fiscal health of the hospital and the continuation of our mission as we provide quality healthcare to all those in our community.
Gifts to the Founders Club are directed consistent with the donors’ wishes. Some choose to direct their gifts to benefit a particular project or program today, while others elect to invest in the future of St. James Mercy Hospital, providing support through an endowment gift. In such cases, all endowment gifts are invested with the investment policies of Catholic Health East (CHE) and are overseen by CHE’s Board of Directors. Each year, members of the Founders Club are honored at an annual reception.
All gifts to the Foundation are tax-deductible. To optimize and appropriately account for your gift, we recommend that you consult with your tax advisor or attorney.
