Mercycare Addiction Recovery Programs
In a continuing effort to live the St. James Mercy Health System Mission to reverence life and show special concern for the poor, under-served and disadvantaged, the Mercycare Addiction Treatment Center of Hornell (MATCH) provides quality care aimed at promoting addiction recovery.
Our Essential Service Structure

Inpatient Addiction Recovery Services
MATCH inpatient services include support for patients that present co-occurring mental hygiene and addiction disorders. Patients are provided a therapeutic setting supported by psychiatric, medical, nursing and case coordination. Treatment efforts emphasize health promotion, addiction management, healthy relationships, vocational success and strength in recovery. Male and Female patients over the age of 18 are accepted for services.

Outpatient Addiction Recovery Services
MATCH outpatient treatment offers intensive outpatient and non-intensive outpatient services to male and female patients over 18 years of age. Services focus on maintaining a sober and healthy lifestyle, building relationships, dealing with grief issues, preventing relapse, dealing with anger and building a sober support network. Outpatient services also offer medical and psychiatric support. Our outpatient program has qualified staff offering evaluation services for Department of Transportation (DOT) referrals and for professional Employment Assistance Program (EAP) services.
In addition, we now have a highly effective outpatient treatment program for people addicted to opiates, such as morphine, oxycodone, hydrocodone, codeine or heroin. Read about our suboxone treatment for opiate addiction.

Within each service offered by MATCH, emphasis is placed on patient privacy and confidentiality, as well as fostering an environment where patients may confront the stigma and pain of addiction in a safe environment characterized by dignity and respect.
