MOMS Prenatal Program

Medicaid, Obstetrical and Maternal Services (MOMS) Program provides comprehensive prenatal education for pregnant women in our surrounding area. Eligible clients, as determined by income eligibility guidelines set forth by New York State, receive Medicaid coverage for the duration of the pregnancy and to the baby for up to one full year after delivery. The staff of the MOMS program has a working relationship with clients’ physicians to maintain a continuity of care.

- Nutritional assessment
- Health Education
- HIV pre and post test counseling
- Breastfeeding education
- Parent education
- Domestic violence education
- Chemical abuse counseling
- Childbirth education
- Postpartum assessment
