What is the Sleep Disorders Lab?
The St. James Mercy Sleep Disorder Lab is a satellite facility affiliated with the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Affiliation provides the southern tier with a broad range of services including evaluation and therapy for sleep apnea and other dysfunctions which may interrupt the sleep cycle thereby affecting daily activity.
As one of the only accredited Sleep Labs in the region, St. James Mercy is fully equipped to diagnose and treat many types of sleep disorders by board certified Sleep Physicians, Pulmonologist, and Registered Polysomnographers. Our new hotel-like rooms are furnished with a Sleep Number bed, oversized recliner, flat screen TV, to make patients feel at home. We even serve a continental breakfast.
